LA's music scene has always evolved and the DJ scene has always been a strong backbone as to why bands become successful in LA and other parts of the Nation. LA's DJ scene has brought us legends like Richard "Humpty" Vission, Thee Mike B and Morse Code. LA has also brought us this new DJ that we had a chance to review last May. Mixologist Mikk has been in the EDM, Hip Hop and Pop scene and most recently released a new single, Taken. Music always adapts to the ever changing generations. Many would argue if you do not diversify your music you start to drown in this competitive vast arena of sound. I see many musical acts stay to their roots and become very successful, and yet I have also seen musicians who were at one time on top of the world stay to their musical wants and start to become the back drop to a struggling genre or crowd.
